Oversaw procurement and production of props for up to 20 live stage productions annually, ensuring timely delivery, high standards of quality, and adherence to creative vision.

Managed departmental production budgets ranging from $50,000 to minimal resources, consistently delivering projects on time and within budget.

Optimized workflow by streamlining shop operations including warehousing, resource allocation, project and annual scheduling, and task prioritization.

Acted as departmental liaison with management, show-specific creative teams, and my departmental peers. 

Facilitated communication and collaboration among designers, directors, stage managers, actors, musicians, and technical departments (e.g., costumes, sound, electrics, scenic, paints, and backstage crews) to achieve production goals efficiently.  Coordinated with stage management to build, update daily, and finalize prop list for each production throughout rehearsal process. 

Lead teams of two to twelve artisans and shoppers including recruitment, training, performance management, and mentorship, fostering a supportive and productive work environment. 

Planned annual calendar for show builds including hours projections.  Tracked actual hours against projection to stay within budget.

Defined organizational, safety and cleaning standards for workspaces including office, workshop, and warehouse facilities.  Spearheaded warehouse inventory project and moved two warehouses.  Built and maintained an SDS library.  Chaired the Safety Committee at SCT.

Served on the Equity, Diversity & Inclusion Change Team at Seattle Children’s Theatre.
